We recently lost a key member of our advisory board, but for the best of all possible reasons. Gary Locke, former Washington State Governor, friend and supporter of Blue Marble Energy from the day we opened our doors, was called upon by President Obama to serve as the Secretary of Commerce. This transition, while a tremendous honor and a wonderful career step, required his resignation from our board. He remains, however, a good friend of Blue Marble Energy and a supporter of the limitless potential of cleantech. We wish him all the best and applaud President Obama for making the right choice in Locke as a key leader in our country’s sustainable recovery and future.
