Distributed power systems tap local resources to satisfy the energy and manufacturing needs of each community. BME collaborates with companies and governments worldwide to efficiently process waste streams and produce valuable biomaterial resources. This cultural shift has taken pressure off of landfills and waste treatment plants, allowing for the sustainable growth of cities and communities.

Ocean-based algae farms are widespread around the equator, sequestering large amounts of carbon dioxide and beginning to reverse the harmful effects of climate change. What were once aquatic wastelands are beginning to heal, as marine life flourishes in cleaner oceans.
